Job Description
Principal Responsibilities:
* Monitoring, controlling and reporting on cost history and forecast
* Assisting Project Manager to manage change control
* Projecting cost reporting; including variations, cost schedule and monthly budget
* Assisting Project Manager with project review functions
* Analyzing budget and cost report trends
Requirements
* 5 years experience in project cost control in either engineering contracting, consultancy organizations in the mining or minerals processing industry, energy, or other heavy industry.
* A bachelor's degree or completion of a three-year college program in civil or construction engineering technology or a related field is preferred
* Experience with cost estimating software
* Good general understanding of all engineering disciplines
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in a multi-discipline environment as a team member
