Core Purpose of Job
To manage projects insuring compliance with company objectives and strategies. Plan, implement and document the execution of specific projects ensuring optimal conditions and building with laid down specification, approved drawings and within approved capital expenditures and provide special engineering skills and services to the projects.
Areas of Responsibility
Develop and execute projects to achieve agreed functional outcomes
Provide management to project team ensuring adequate resources, skills and experience are available to meet project demands
Manage the projects group H&S activities in accordance with company policy
Manage consultants, suppliers, contractors and internal customers to ensure objectives are met
Co-ordinate project activities in accordance the the company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications
Managing project information, schedules, cash flow, reports
Management of department executing 40 capital projects with circa 20 staff and 140 contractors
Managing interface between Projects, Manufacturing, TRD, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Engineering
Qualifications/Experience
Engineering or Technology Degree
10 years management experience operating at a similiar level
Results driven with strong interpersonal skills
