Business Development Manager UK, £Neg + Package The person appointed will work with the executive management team to create and implement a credible and realistic Nationwide Marketing plan for the Group. The Business Development Manager will play a central role in the achievement of agreed business objectives and to assist in the operational growth and profitable development of the business in the UK. Key Responsibilities: - Research, document and present (internally) a fully costed Marketing Plan
- Source and assist in securing new projects nationwide and co-ordinate and manage the pre – qualification process in conjunction with Directors, Estimating and current Marketing Executives.
- Prepare and deliver company presentations
- Develop and maintain on going and new Client relationships through corporate entertainment, social events etc…
Competence and Experience: - Extensive knowledge of the UK Civil Engineering Market in a similar role with a leading company
- Excellent negotiation skills and team building skills
- Strategic thinker
- Excellent presentation and relationship skills
- Good Commercial acumen
- Recognised formal Third Level Qualification in Marketing and/or Construction
- Previous knowledge of the Construction Industry (desirable but not essential)
