Claims Specialist
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
KEO International Consultants is a world ranked and leading Architectural, Engineering, and Project and Construction Management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman.
This position is within the Infrastructure Division and is responsible for overseeing both the contractor and consultant claims on a prestigious and high profile Bridge Project.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Knowledge and experience of Quantity Surveying on primarily Bridge related projects.
• Performing professional contract administration work with experience in FIDC and the ability to advise all relevant parties on contract requirements and procedures.
• Producing performance reviews and evaluations and identifying areas of non-compliance.
• Knowledge of international contracts/agreements: principles, theory and application, terminology and development as well as practices and procedures. UAE government laws and regulations will be an asset.
• Understanding of Design-Built and Design-Bid-Build contracting and possess the ability to effectively represent the employer in associated discussions.
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
Excellent English language communication skills, both written and spoken, are required.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
