Bid/Partnering Manager - Essex - to £70k + Excellent Package
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Partnering/Bid Manager with proven ability to join a fast growing, ambitious and entrepreneurial Main Contractor. Experience in the Social Housing and Education sectors will play a major advantage in your application.
The main purpose of the role is to manage the process of compiling and producing quality bids and related phases in order to achieve contracts with an expected value of £500k to £250M.
The Partnering Manager reports directly to the Divisional Business Development Director and will work as part of the Bid team.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of bid + tender submissions.
* Responsible for organising the review of the submission against client requirements.
* Planning, writing and co-ordinating responses to bids and tenders.
* Compiling, updating and maintaining a library of company standard tender documentation.
* Maintaining records relating to submissions and successes.
* Build internal and external relationships with individuals associated with the bid process in order to create quality bids.
* Develop a creative approach to the writing and presentation of bids.
* Reviewing all bid submissions for quality and accuracy.
* Maintain a high level of market intelligence, legislative requirements and best practice in order to create winning bids.
* Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, whilst sharing best practice with the team.
* Responsible for managing a developing a team of Bid Writers and PQQ Administrators
* Client Liaison
* Business Development
* Elements of Estimating + Business Development also play a part in this role
Candidate Requirements
* Must have Social Housing or Education sector experience (BSF)
* Professional qualification preferred but not compulsory
* Stable career history
