Core Purpose of job
To manage Plastic Projects - making bottles, caps, decorations and others within operations division ensuring compliance with company objectives and stratagies. To plan implement and document the execution of specific projects ensuring compliance with laid down specification, approved drawings and with approved capital expenditures. To provide special engineering skills and service to the project group.
Areas of Responsibility
•Develop and execute projects to achieve agreed functional outcomes
•Provide management of Ops Division project team ensuring adequate resources, skills and experience are available to meet project demands
•Manage the projects group H&S activities in accordance with comapny policy
•Manage consultants, suppliers, contractors and internal customers to ensure objectives are met
•C-ordinate project activities in accordance with the company quality system, standard quality procedures and engineering specifications
•Conducting feasability on proposed projects and preparing cost summaries
•Preparing Capex application for operations projects
•Managing project information, schedules, cash flow, reports
Person Specification
•Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•10 years experience in project management, 5 years in the plastic industry
•Results driven individual
•Strong interpersonal skills
•FMCG exposure
•Relevent Plastic Qualification
