Telecommunications Regional Manager Summary
A Regional Manager is required for a leading Project Management company specialising in the Telecommunications sector and currently performing a number of projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Regional Manager (Telecoms) PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS:
- Leading the companies Central Region team and fully accountable for effective delivery of services to the client as required by the clients Liaison Officer, Signals Commander and Maintenance Support Unit Commander.
- Responsible for all Regional business aspects of the OMT programme and primary responsibility for continuous customer satisfaction.
- Key member of Operations Directors First Line.
Regional Manager (Telecoms) SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The regional team comprises of around 170 multi-national staff and operates across the client's installations that are widely deployed within the Central Region of Saudi Arabia.
The key responsibilities of the Regional Manager are:
Ensuring efficient use of resources to deliver:
Effective leadership of the companies Managed Services staff deployed appropriately within the region.
Continuous and high level of Customer satisfaction across the Region.
High standard of operational management of the clients communications network
High standard of maintenance of all equipment and buildings as required by the OMT Scope of Services, including quality, health & safety in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
Central and Regional technical training for the clients technicians in accordance with the Annual Training Schedule.
Regional company vehicle fleet
Television Receive Only (TVRO) services to the clients Customers
Fully accountable for the companies Regional budget
Creation of co-operative working relationships with clients Signals Commander, Liaison Officer and local sub-contractors.
To assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities.
Telecoms Regional Mmanager Knowledge & Experience Required
ESSENTIAL
Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
Sound understanding of the concept of service provision.
Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams.
Sound knowledge and full experience of managing a large budget
DESIRABLE
Business experience in the Defence Sector
Experience in delivery of telecommunications services
Experience of living or working in the Middle East
Package
Tax free salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, paid in Saudi Riyals
2 Bed Villa with utilities paid for (excluding phone bill)
Car Provided with service and fuel paid
3 Flights per year.
Medical insurance provided
Bonus depending on personal and company performance
