Systems Design Engineer Job Description:
You will be involved in the systems design of a wide range of communications systems in conjunction with specified sub-contractors, including the specification and competitive procurement of Command, Control, Communications and Information Systems (CCIS).
Systems Design Engineer Project Description:
A major project to update a defence based telecommunications infrastructure in a Middle Eastern location ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Systems Design Engineer Duties:
You will use your expertise in telecommunications systems, such as; Telephony switching
Computer networks including servers, clients, LAN and WAN,
Digital microwave systems,
Optical transmission systems,
Secure Mobile Radio (TETRA) and Network Management Systems and will review sub-contractor proposals for design, installation, testing and acceptance test plans.
Systems Design Engineer Experience Required:
You will have technical experience of Defence based telecommunication systems with experience of living or working in the Middle East, together with relevant qualifications, HND or degree.
